Finance
Paqtnkek’s Finance department manages Paqtnkek’s budget, and disperses finances accordingly. The department oversees all expenditures related to the financial management of both band operations, and Paqtnkek’s commercial enterprises. The Finance Department plays a pivotal role in the management of the day-to-day operation of the administration and government programs, economic development projects, and all capital projects.
Did you know that Paqtnkek received a financial performance certificate from the First Nations Financial Management Board? And it recently completed its own Financial Administration Law, a major milestone in open and transparent financial management.

ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!!!! Our community is small enough to know who needs a home or not. Every year what makes you think someone who applied in 2022 isn’t going to be in the same situation they were in the last 5 years!! Common Paqtnkek Mi'kmaw Nation do better!! I personally can name a few people in need I’m sure we all could lol!
